PHYSICAL ASSET MANAGEMENT CONSULTING
Something is
not quite right.
If you are a decision-maker in an asset-intensive organization, you may already sense it: inefficiencies normalized as part of the landscape, risk exposures miscalibrated, tactical decisions disguised as strategy—while value is quietly left on the table.

not quite right.
If you are a decision-maker in an asset-intensive organization, you may already sense it: inefficiencies normalized as part of the landscape, risk exposures miscalibrated, tactical decisions disguised as strategy—while value is quietly left on the table.

Business performance, capital at risk and long-term sustainability are inseparable from the way physical assets are decided, managed and governed.
You do not need to be an Asset Management expert. Recognizing that the current situation deserves attention is enough. Anábasis makes the condition, trade-offs and line of sight explicit—then stays accountable for the result.
Not isolated methods.
One decision context.
Our background spans Physical Asset Management, Reliability Engineering, Functional Safety, Instrumentation, Automation and Control Systems. Engagements begin with the decision—not a predetermined tool.

Strategy and asset decisions
Business objectives translated into risk-based technical and financial decisions, plans and activities—with an explicit line of sight from expected value to work on the ground.
Asset Management & Reliability Engineering →
Reliability and production evidence
Operational history becomes a controlled body of evidence before it becomes a parameter. We challenge failure populations, assumptions and achievable production performance.
Process risk and functional safety
Hazards, safeguards and safety functions are structured as one lifecycle so required risk reduction remains connected to proof testing and sustaining actions.
Process Safety & Risk Engineering →
Instrumentation, automation and control
Four decades of field experience inform decisions around dormant protection, calibration, control architecture and the evidence required to sustain intended functions.
APM adoption and decision processes
Technology is scaled around the engineering decision—not the reverse. Broad Meridium APM experience connects system structures with the way work is actually governed.
APM Adoption & Decision Processes →
Traceability before
calculation.
Frame
Clarify the business objective, decision boundary and evidence required.
Model
Represent functions, uncertainty, dependencies and credible scenarios.
Challenge
Test assumptions and alternatives against risk, performance and value.
Decide
Deliver a traceable basis for action, with limitations made explicit.
Technology scales processing; engineering judgment remains irreducibly human. These are internal capabilities supporting consulting decisions—not commercial software products.
Accountability is part of the engineering.
We do not believe in consulting fees paid in advance of results, other than logistics. We believe consulting should be paid from the verified value it delivers. No open loops.
Nor do we use clients as training grounds for leveraged delivery models. No leverage pyramid: direct senior execution, focused, accountable and deliberately selective.
Anábasis works through a deliberately simple structure: direct senior involvement, short paths from evidence to decision, and the ability to adjust the work as the client’s circumstances become clearer. There are no layers to navigate before a technical question reaches the person accountable for its answer.
That agility does not reduce the depth of the work. It allows rigorous engineering to respond at the pace of the problem—and keeps the engagement close to the result it was meant to deliver.
Each engagement begins with an explicit business result, an agreed baseline and a verifiable method for establishing the value delivered. Compensation follows that evidence. RaaS is an accountability model—not a software product or a leveraged staffing arrangement.
Nearly four decades
aligning asset decisions.
Jorge founded Anábasis after an international career across the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, working in chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, energy and manufacturing environments.
His work sits where operations, maintenance, reliability, process safety, instrumentation and business performance meet. Field-grounded judgment is combined with explicit analytical models.
You already know this is not
something to leave unattended.
Bring the urgency you sense, the evidence available and the consequence of getting the decision wrong. We will determine whether—and how—Anábasis can help.
